The Need to fight
In 1974, following the death of the chimpanzee troop leader, two sub-groups of chimpanzees arose in the central Gombe National Park of Tanzania. Shortly thereafter, the Kasakela troop mounted violent attacks on members of the neighboring Kahama troop. At least one infant from the Kahama troop was cannibalized. The attack appeared to be motivated by a power struggle rather than any policy dispute.

This is not about policy. This is about the innate need of humans to fight – to attack, to bully, to suppress, to dominate, and to kill. In order to satisfy this need, an enemy must be identified, and that enemy must be located within reach.
This is about a man who speaks to that need.
