This isn’t about policy. This is about the innate need of humans to fight – to attack, to bully, to suppress, to dominate, and to kill. In order to satisfy this need, an enemy must be identified, and that enemy must be located within reach.
This is about a man who speaks to that need. A man who demands unbounded power – unquestioned affirmation from his advisors and followers. Somehow, this comes across as great leadership and speaks compellingly to those with an elevated need to fight, to bully, and they become followers. The ranks of these has swelled to the point of critical danger.
Our Constitution is no match for Trump’s impending consolidation and abuse of power.
